Availability confirmed! I want to give notice right away though that there will be one day in April and another day around the beginning of May when I won't be able to make one of the two. This is because in China when there is a festival you get a weekday off then usually work that day at the weekend. Even then I won't have to miss both, and I will find out the exact dates later this week. Will that be okay?

No problem Insomni. I expect there will be some weeks when we cant play a session.

Game Options: I propose these, possibly the one option that could go either way is historical leaders death. Please respond if anyone has concerns.

Proposed game rules; see below, based heavily on the previous Sat game. 5 Mar: Changed rules A.12, A.14, Added B.3, C.3, F.2, & F.3
A War Entry Rules
A.1 GER must first go to war via the Danzig war event on 30 August 1939.
A.2 ITA cannot join the Axis before 1 September 1939. After 30 August 1939, ITA may join the Axis (alliance with GER) at any time. After 30 August 1939, ENG may DOW ITA at any time.
A.3 ITA may complete its existing war with Ethiopia, and may DOW Albania by historical event.
A.4 Non-historical alliances are not allowed. eg No JAP / SOV alliance. After Danzig, non-historical alliances are allowed between a human controlled country and an AI controlled country.
A.5 JAP cannot join the Axis before 1 May 1940. After 30 April 1940, JAP may join the Axis (alliance with GER) at any time. After 30 April 1940, ENG may DOW JAP at any time.
A.6 Prior to 1 May 1940, JAP may not DOW any countries other than those countries in the historical chinese region. eg Prior to 1 May 1940, JAP may DOW Tibet and Sinkiang but not Mongolia.
A.7 Prior to 1 May 1940, GER, ITA, SOV, ENG may not DOW any country that did not participate in WWII. This means countries like TUR, SPA / SPR (Spains), SWE, POR, AFG, SCH (Switzerland) cannot be DOW until after 30 April 1940.
A.8 SOV must fight the winter war against FIN and select “Settle for what we asked for” peace settlement. After 30 April 1940, either GER or SOV may DOW FIN.
A.9 Only the head of an alliance may issue a DOW. Exceptions: Once JAP joins the Axis it may DOW countries exclusively in Asia while GER must DOW countries in Europe. Human controlled countries in an alliance headed by an AI country may DOW.
A.10 Before joining any alliance at war, the player must declare war on one human controlled member of the opposing alliance beforehand (i.e. Both ITA & JAP have to declare war on ENG before allying with GER).
A.11 A DOW against ROM is not allowed until after the SOV claim Bessarabia event (26 June 1940).
A.12 USA can only enter the war either by DOW from JAP if JAP is not in the Axis, or by DOW from GER if JAP is in the Axis. If JAP does DOW USA, USA must DOW GER before USA joins the Allies (assuming GER does not DOW USA).
A.13 JAP must DOW USA no earlier than 1 June 1941 and no later than 1 March 1942.
A.14 USA can require an Axis country to DOW USA no earlier than 1 May 1940 and no later than 1 March 1942 if the belligerence of that Axis country is high enough to allow a USA DOW, or if any of the three Axis powers has invaded either ENG or CAN or AST or NZL or SAF (commonwealth countries) or invaded any north or south american country, or if either Moscow or Stalingrad or Novosibirsk are no longer controlled by SOV.

B Event Rules
B.1 No human player may ally in the Spanish civil war. Limited support is allowed.
B.2 GER must give the full Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and SOV must accept. The pact must be honoured at least until 30 April 1940, when the non-aggression pact expires. After 30 April 1940, existing trades may be kept or cancelled at any time.
B.3 SOV may accept or reject the purge event.

C Supply & Money Rules
C.1 Players are forbidden to run on zero supplies. If an event causes supplies to drop into negative balance, players must take action to return to a positive balance immediately even if this means reducing production to nil.
C.2 If a player chooses not to use the automated convoy system, convoys must be kept operational for at least one month continuously, with at least the barest minimum number of ships to maintain the convoy. Temporary convoy interruptions due to losses incurred are allowed.
C.3 Players may reduce unit salaries to no less than 10% of the maximum amount.

D Trading Rules
Definition: A trade is an x / day resource exchange, and requires the use of land or sea convoys. A bulk trade is a one-off, lump sum resource exchange, undertaken in the diplomacy screen.
D.1 All trades must be at least at 100% of market value and remain so until both countries are in the same alliance or at war with the same human controlled country.
D.2 Bulk trades can only be undertaken between human controlled countries in the same alliance, with their capital provinces connected by a friendly controlled, land connection. eg GER / ITA Axis alliance, with alliance controlled land connection between Berlin & Rome.
D.3 USA is free to undertake or decline lend lease event triggered bulk trades with other countries.
D.4 Countries supporting the spanish civil war are free to undertake bulk trades with the spanish countries via historical events only.
D.5 SOV is free to undertake or decline event triggered bulk trades with CHI.
D.6 Prior to Danzig event, USA and SOV must accept fully funded trades with the Axis powers (GER, ITA, JAP).
D.7 After the Danzig event, SOV must maintain trades with the Axis powers as long as the MR pact is honoured (at least until 30 April 1940).
D.8 After the Danzig event, USA must maintain trades with the Axis powers until either 30 April 1940 or when Vichy France is established (if occurs earlier).
D.9 After the Danzig event, USA must maintain trades with JAP until either 30 April 1940 or the fall/ annexation of China (if occurs earlier) or the Japanese oil embargo event.

E Military Unit Rules
E.1 Countries may not disband their starting units. The only exceptions are Cavalry, level one ships and Militia. Japan is exempt from this rule completely.
E.2 Unit trading or selling between countries is not allowed.
E.3 The granting of Military access to any country is banned, unless it is done via event.
E.4 Paratrooper units and rocket units are not allowed.
E.5 VoV is only allowed for units belonging to human controlled countries.
E.6 Expeditionary force units are not allowed, unless they are from any of the four commonwealth countries (SAF, AST, NZL, CAN) on expeditionary loan to ENG. For all other countries and circumstances, units may only be controlled via MC.
E.7 No form of unit stealing is allowed. Annexed countries units are gone for good to include all land, sea and air units.
E.8 Capital provinces cannot be directly targeted for logistical strikes in order to reduce infrastructure. When targeting a capital province, the entire region must be selected rather than just the capital province. This rule only applies to capital provinces. Any other province can be individually selected for logistical strikes. This rule does not apply if the targeted country only retains control of its capital province; all other provinces having been lost.
E.9 It is forbidden to move ships directly from port to port and coast to coast. Ships moving between ports must enter at least one sea zone.
E.10 After Danzig, there are no restrictions on disbanding units. However, all units to be disbanded must be in supply, not adjacent to enemy controlled provinces and at full organisation. Units in a pocket or about to be may not be disbanded. If there is any question about a forming pocket, the player that wishes to disband the units must pause and discuss this action with the other players.
E.11 New military units must first be deployed to a core national province.

F Miscellaneous Rules
F.1 The espionage tab on AoD cannot be used. Spies can be sent into foreign countries, but none of the espionage missions can be performed.
F.2 ENG may not deploy province improvements to POL or FRA prior to 1 May 1940.
F.3 In the Intelligence screen, the only permitted activity is spying. (eg no sabotage, blueprint stealing, assassination missions are permitted). Intelligence screen only to be used at session start time due to belief its use causes MP game crashes.

Country selection:
Some people haven't given any preferences, other have said country doesn't matter to them. I haven't heard from Grungluck, so here is the proposed country allocation. (Grungluck please reply if you are still interested) Can you all live with this one?

One player may be unable to play weekends, just checking now. In the meantime, load up AoD109_C32 version from the Paradox AoD forum web site.
I start with a vanilla copy of AoD108 (SUBR) then unpack Pang's changes 32 file in the main AoD108 directory to overwrite existing files. Gives checksum JYYT. There could be a couple of small manual changes after this.
