There's really no being "good" at CK2, it's more just for sh1ts and laughs. Quite good at it really The most fun I've had with CK2 is when I'm doing poorly, when I'm doing "well" it often gets boring.

Come join us, MP CK2 is prolly the most fun you can have with PDS games, it's not really competitive, it's more for sharing the crazy stuff happening with the other players.

That's not a problem. If you and ummd are in the British Isles, you'll have plenty of room to play around and not worry about significant threats (except the English, of course!). Y'all can collaborate on defeating the English pig-dogs, or snipe at each other to wrest control of the North, etc.

It can be a tough game sometimes, but remember to keep your vassals happy or in jail, and don't execute anyone unless you have just cause. Opinions about you can change surprisingly quickly. Marriage is the key to most advancement, so choose your partners wisely.

A friend of mine has expressed interest in playing. He's done a lot of single-player CK2, but not much multiplayer. I've made a few recommendations regarding Duchy selections, but I think he'll be a great addition regardless.

Chances are won't be able to make it tomorrow (21 May). Got 2 contractors coming to the house, one of them sked'd late afternoon, and it involves alot of digging.
